Hi I’m Karen Mangham. The owner of Mangham Made!
I started mangham made in 2016. I started sewing as a creative outlet when I was working full-time in an office. I was always interested in sewing but never owned a sewing machine.
When I was newly married, I borrowed a sewing machine from my mother in law and bought some fabric and started making myself some bags.
In 2016 my husband moved us from California to Utah and I became a stay at home mom. At first, I opened my shop to try to help fund my crafting addiction. Within the first year I was able to build a community of friends who have helped me grow and have become some of my greatest friends.
I’ve always loved sewing bags and have never been one to follow patterns. Once I learned the basics of bag making, I started creating my own patterns. I love being inspired by different fabrics and functionality.
I’ve always felt like everyone whos willing to learn, can sew. I’m hoping that I can inspired others to sew like me!
